New stone flooring for the entire ground floor was required for this 1930s detached home in Hampshire. The design called for the same stone to be used throughout and therefore suitable for all areas and usage from kitchen to powder room.
An English Limestone with a custom finish was selected to give a worn and rustic appearance which reflected the informal country-style of the property interior.
The stone came from our own quarry and was laid in a traditional format - gauged widths and random lengths - throughout the hallway, family room, kitchen, back hall, powder room, utility and wine store. The differing room sizes and layouts are well suited to this format.
