The original article - genuine, reclaimed York flagstones. York sandstone is the traditional London paving stone and a popular choice for new buildings as well as restoration projects largely due to its extremely hardwearing properties and practical colour.

There are many different grades of Reclaimed York and quality and batch colour can vary considerably depending on the source. When working on projects requiring Reclaimed York we make sure the quality and colour is consistent, the only variation being the stone’s natural characteristics. We can also refinish and regularise flagstones which means they can be laid in courses with 6mm joints for a smart, uniform and less traditional look.

Reclaimed York flagstones are available in their original condition; refinished and cut for accurate course widths and joints; regularised to a uniform size. 6 mm joints are achievable with refinished and cut flags for a finer finish.
