HOPTON WOOD ENGLISH LIMESTONE
An exceptionally hardwearing Derbyshire limestone which is warm grey in colour with an even distribution of darker flecks. Hopton Wood has been used in notable buildings such as the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Chatsworth House. It was also chosen by Margaret Thatcher for the entrance hall flooring in her Belgravia home where she resided for over 20 years until her death.
