PROJECT 0895

St Nicholas Church

On Palm Sunday in 2008, St Nicholas Church in Radford Semele was destroyed in a deliberate fire.  In May 2013, the restored church was reopened with over 250m² of Ancaster Hard White limestone as the new flooring.

A single piece of stone representing the footprint of one of the original columns destroyed in the fire was central to the scheme.
